The crowning achievement of the Lipetsk tractor industry was the LTZ-155, the chief designer of which was Alexander Durmanov. It was designed and put into production in 1988, but went into mass production only in 1995. The unit provides a total of 16 forward and 8 speeds. Speed ranges from 2.09 to 35.01 when moving forward and from 2.58 to 11.95. The use of a driver is possible, its use greatly extends the functionality of the machine.

This allowed the machine to perform maneuvers previously inaccessible to vehicles of this class.
For the LTZ-155 there were four options to turn:
- Turn only the wheels of the front axle;
- Turn only the rear axle;
- Rear and front wheels turn in the same direction (this maneuver was called “crabbing”);
- The front and rear wheels turned in opposite directions (in this case, the rear wheels copied the front track).
Wheel control of the front axle is hydraulic, of the rear hydromechanical with a tracking effect, the signal to the tracking device from the front axle.
Tractor control post is quickly reversible. This allowed the tractor to successfully perform both front and rear tasks.

The machine has been used in our farm for more than 15 years. It is possible to repair the necessary tools in the field. The technique is fuel quality and at the same time very economical. Agrotehmash is a young production company that produces tractors at the production site in Tambov. Its history began in the 1990s, when “Agrotehmash” was a dealer of well-known European brands.
