- Always stop the engine and remove the spark plug before making any repairs, unless you want to test the performance of the saw with the engine running.
- It is recommended that the chain be sharpened at a service center, as sharpening equipment and special skills are required.
- If the inner grooves of the bar are worn, replace it.
- Change the spark plug annually, the ignition torque is not adjustable, the correct gap is 0.5 mm.
- It is categorically forbidden to change the design of the saw, otherwise malfunctions and breakdowns will be inevitable.
- Try to figure out yourself the nature of recoil and do not create such situations – it is fraught with serious damage: the saw stalls when pressing the gas and at high revolutions.
- If there is no spark, clean the spark plug to form the correct gap between the electrodes.
- When replacing an old chain with a new one, never put it on a worn sprocket.
- If the saw does not start, rule out the following factors: filter clogged with wood debris, unsuitable fuel mixture, water in the carburetor.
